Associate Dean Research & Graduate Studies; Associate Professor
Sari Graben
Sari Graben’s work on law and technology addresses technology-based education and critical approaches to access to justice. Building on her research on risk assessment and the role of science in legal decision making, she examines how to redesign processes that impede accessibility to government services.
This involves a thorough analysis of how user experience is characterized in law and the role of government partners. She is engaged with technology based curricular design at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law and is the academic lead of the Justice & Technology Lab, in which a multi-disciplinary team of students bring legal, technology and design perspectives to challenges faced by public institutions.
