Should the Use of Lethal Autonomous Robots be Permitted in Warfare?

This article explores how lethal autonomous robots may advance or undermine the rules of international humanitarian law (laws that regulate the conduct of war and armed conflict). It also attempts to provide insight on the value (or otherwise) of the current proposal before the United Nations to ban autonomous weapons systems.
